School Admissions (including Reception and In-Years Admissions)
Hillshott Infant School is two form entry (2 classes of 30 children) covering the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. Hertfordshire County Council coordinate admissions to our school (including appeals). Please visit the HCC website for details of how to apply for a place in our school;

Admissions September 2027 open later in the Autumn Term at which time we will be offering school tours. Once the tour dates are announced, they will be displayed here.
Nursery Admissions
We (the school) manage our own Nursery admissions, for children who turn 4 in the following academic year. As a school-based nursery, opening times match our school day (8.30am to 3.10pm Monday to Friday term time only) and we don't offer additional wrap-around hours. We offer both;
- 15hrs sessions (either mornings 8.30 to 11.30am or afternoons 12.10 to 3.10pm)
- 30hrs session (8.30am to 2.30pm) with the option to buy-in additional hours up to 3.10pm.
September 2027 admissions open on 2nd November 2026 when the application form will be available. Once the application process is open, we will offer Nursery tours and the dates for these will appear below.
