School Admissions (including Reception and In-Years Admissions)

Hillshott Infant School is two form entry (2 classes of 30 children) covering the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. Hertfordshire County Council coordinate admissions to our school (including appeals).

Nursery Admissions

We (the school) manage our own Nursery admissions. September 2026 Nursery admissions are now open for children born 1st September 2022 to 31st August 2023.

As a school-based nursery, opening times match our school day (8.30am to 3.10pm Monday to Friday term time only) and we don't offer additional wrap-around hours. We offer both

• 15hrs sessions (either mornings 8.30 to 11.30am or afternoons 12.10 to 3.10pm)
• 30hrs session (8.30am to 2.30pm) with the option to buy-in additional hours up to 3.10pm.

The deadline for September 2026 admissions is 2nd March 2026.
