Hello Everyone,

Mrs Pring teaches us Monday - Thursday and Mrs Turner and Mrs Lalite teach us on Fridays. Mrs McFarlane-Cushing works with us all week

Our start time is 8.40 and we finish at 3.10
Everyday you will take your reading book home to read to a grown up. It will be changed on Mondays and you can choose a library book on Thursdays.
Homework is given out on a Friday and is due on the following Wednesday.
Spellings are given out on a Friday too but don't have to be returned until Thursday to give you time to learn. They will be tested on Friday.
Kestrels have PE every Wednesday and Friday

Welcome to Kestrels class!!! Our Autumn 1 topic is 'Lovely Letchworth'. Please look at our mind map to find out more about what we learn. We will take opportunities to continue with the child initiated learning approach from Year 1 by using CIL boxes 4 afternoons a week. Each box links directly to adult led learning from a 2 week time period and children access these freely during CIL time.

We will also go on a local litter pick as part of our eco pledge and a walk around town where we will spot historical landmarks. Keep an eye on your emails for more details about this nearer the time.
